The editorial board of The Russian Arctic conducts technical and scientific expertise of the texts. Every article is analyzed by experts from respective areas: doctors of science, professors, members of The Russian Academy of Sciences and other representatives of Russian scientific community.
Article expertise is carried out in accordance with the following criteria:
• Relevance and novelty of the scientific problem solved by the author;
• Theoretical and practical significance of the research;
• Correspondence and consistency of the author’s conclusions to modern scientific concepts existing in the field of his/her study;
• A brief literature review;
• The author’s contribution to the solution of a problem raised in the article.
