- Participation in the development of international standards for work in the Arctic (as part of the working group No. 1 "Working environment" of the PC 8 subcommittee "Arctic operations" ISO / TC 67 "Materials, equipment and offshore structures for the oil, petrochemical and gas industries").
- edited by G.N. Degteva published a collective monograph "Problems of health care and social development of the Arctic zone of Russia" - the 6th volume of a multivolume work following the results of the International Polar Year (IPY) 2007/08 (Moscow: Paulsen, 2011. - 472 p.).
- Scientific supervisor for the implementation of work in accordance with the Agreement with the Regional Office for Europe - through the WHO Office in the Russian Federation "Impact of climate change on public health and assessment of adaptation opportunities in the north of the Russian Federation" (2009-2013).
Based on the work performed, an assessment was made of the vulnerability and ability of the population's health to adapt to climate change, and the creative team developed a "Strategy for Adaptation to the Impact of Climate Change on Population Health for the Arkhangelsk Region and the Nenets Autonomous District of the Russian Federation."

Currently, scientific work is being carried out within the framework of State Assignment No. 056-00121-18-00 for 2018 and for the planning period 2019 - 2020 on the topic "Features of metabolic processes and nutrition of the population, including school, among the indigenous and newcomers of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation ". Interregional public organization of the Association of Polar Explorers (ASPOL).
