Position: FGBU Science Geophysical Center RAS
Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences
Place of employment: Federal State Budgetary Institution of Science Geophysical Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (GC RAS)
Laboratory of Geoinformatics and Geomagnetic Research, Leading Researcher
Education: Moscow State University. MV Lomonosov, Faculty of Physics, specialty - "Physics", 1987
Maikop State Technological University, Faculty of Management, 2020
Academic degree: Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, 2014, specialty "Physics of the atmosphere and hydrosphere".
Research interests:
- remote sensing of the Earth from space;
- regional and global climate change;
- mathematical modeling of ocean dynamics.
Rationale for the contribution to the development of the field of knowledge:
- study of interannual or climatic variability of the level of inland seas of Russia, including spatial variability;
- creation of a spatio-temporal model of the average heights of the sea surface of the Caspian Sea according to satellite altimetry data;
-development and software implementation, together with specialists from IAP RAS and IO RAS, of an adaptive regional retracking algorithm for processing satellite altimetry data;
- creation and replenishment of the "Integrated database of satellite altimetry", which is the only database of altimetry measurements in the country;
- development and implementation of algorithms for identifying the presence of ice cover on the inland seas of Russia and large water bodies (lakes and reservoirs) using methods of discrete mathematical analysis;
- development of methods for assimilation of remote sensing data in models of thermohydrodynamics of inland seas.
