«Russian Arctic» is a scientific peer-reviewed journal, established in 2018. It publishes open access academic/scholarly research in Russian and English. Full text are available online. Double-blind peer-review process is supported.

Founder and publisher
LLC Center for Information and Legal Support for the Development of the Arctic is the Journal’s founder and publisher.
Focus and scope
- enable the scientists studying the Arctic to quickly publish the results of their research;
- provide scientific support to strategic projects in the Arctic;
- draw the attention of a wide audience to healthcare issues faced by the Arctic’s indigenous population, to the environment and climate of the Russian North;
- provide Russian and foreign scientists with a platform for dialogue and exchange of knowledge;
- increase the prestige of Russian scientific research at the global level.

Online publications
The Journal supports online publications.
Manuscripts, passed through standard expertise and peer-review processes are published online with unique DOI. Authors are not allowed to make changes of any kind to the article texts. According to the Journal periodicity all online publications are combined into an issue. Manuscripts assigned with page numbers and bibliographic references. Authors are allowed to print their materials before the periodical is issued.
Indexing
Articles published in «Russian Arctic» are registered in the scientific electronic library eLIBRARY.ru and in Russia’s Higher Attestation Commission. The Editors are actively working to include the Journal in Russian and international scientific abstract and citation databases.
Archiving
Full-text issues of the «Russian Arctic» Journal are stored in the CyberLeninka scientific electronic library, in the electronic catalogue of scientific and technical literature of the Russian Academy of Sciences (VINITI RAS) and other citation and archiving databases.
Open access
Full versions of all scientific articles are published on the Journal’s website under a non-exclusive license granted by the Authors under an agreement with the Journal. Published works are available under the Creative Commons Attribution license, which requires an appropriate reference to the creator.
Subscription
Notifications about new releases of «Russian Arctic» are published on the Journal’s Facebook account. You can subscribe to the Journal’s news by filling in a special form at the bottom of the page.
Article fees
Publication in «Russian Arctic» is free of charge for all the authors. The Journal doesn't have any article processing charges nor article submission charges.
Advertising
The «Russian Arctic» Journal provides scientists, representatives of large and medium-sized businesses and legislative bodies with the latest research on climate, ecology and health of the population of the Russian North. The electronic version of the Journal is listed in Russian and international scientometric databases which allows it to reach a wide audience. Reprint and postprint policy
By submitting a manuscript to the Editorial Desk of «Russian Arctic», the Author confirms that it has not been previously published and has not been submitted for consideration to another journal. When citing an article published in «Russian Arctic», please provide a link to the Journal’s official website.
Plagiarism detection
Before submitting a manuscript for peer review, the Editors conduct an internal examination of the material, including a check for borrowing and plagiarism in the Antiplagiat.ru system. If more than 80% of the manuscript’s text is found to be unoriginal, the Editorial Desk shall act in accordance with the rules of COPE.
Disclosure and Conflict of Interest
The Editors rule out the use of unpublished data obtained from manuscripts submitted for consideration without the written consent of the Author(s).
Authors should disclose the facts of financial support that could cause a conflict of interest with Reviewers.
Reviewers should not accept manuscripts for review if there is a possibility of a conflict of interest with the author, research team or organisation affiliated with the submitted material.
Ideas, conclusions, primary data obtained in the course of reviewing shall not be used for the purpose of obtaining tangible or intangible personal benefits.
