      Advantages

«Russian Arctic» is a young scientific journal which helps present the results of latest research to the world’s scientific community. The Editors value the Authors’ time; therefore, the are some convenient tools available for preparing and promoting the articles in the scientific community:

      •  Content makes sense
No need to worry about typeface before submitting an article. Just download the Template and fill in the appropriate fields. High-quality content is essential though, along with the correct layout of references list, abstract and keywords. Detailed instructions for laying out the article along with examples are given in the corresponding section.

      • Online publications
Manuscripts, approved by reviewers and editorial board are published online immediately. Authors present the results of their scientific research regardless of the Journal periodicity.

      • Search engine optimisation

In order for scientists to easily find their publications online, we optimize our pages providing full details of scientific papers. This means that the author can enter their surname in any search engine (for common surnames it is recommended to add keywords like «scientific article»or «scientific publication») and their articles published in «Russian Arctic» will appear in the top results.

      • Special Editions

The editorial staff of the Journal consists of young scientists who understand how important it is to quickly publish the results of their research. In order to have their work published earlier than the Journal’s announced publication date, the author or the research team can request a special edition from the editorial office. If the team provides five or more scientific papers on one topic that meet the Journal’s requirements, the editorial staff will consider publishing a special edition which will be indexed and archived in databases. Special edition articles go through all necessary editorial stages including a check for plagiarism and peer review.

      • Indexing and archiving

Currently, articles published in the «Russian Arctic»are registered in the Russian Science Citation database elibrary.ru and other scientific electronic libraries. The Journal’s staff are working to include publications in international and Russian scientometric databases and catalogues.

      • Publication timeframe

The Editorial Desk sets the timeframe for each stage of the editorial process, i. e. examination, reviewing and proofreading. The Editors make sure that every party to the editorial process stick to the set timeframe, which means the Author knows the estimated publication date.
